Memorex DVD+R x4 5 packs w/jewel cases, purple box. $9.99 at Best Buy (Canada).
I picked up 5 boxes today. With tax, works out to $2.14 a disc.

You can take the ad to Future Shop and price match BB, and Future Shop will beat it by 10% of the price.
The truely odd thing: Best Buy owns Future Shop.
That is a great deal on the 4x DVD+R discs in jewel case.

Thats about 1.60 USD. Good deal. Or with the 10% price-match, just 1.43 USD. Then you have to add on all those Canadian taxes and Media taxes and all that.

Future Shop will match the price, but won't beat it. I almost got tossed out of the store arguing with a sales wonk over this. He says any other company, the 10% is good, but since it's Best Buy, they will only price match it.
Oddly, Best Buy will match AND give the 10% offer.
I'm phoning the local consumers department to launch a formal complaint in the morning.. This is pure price-fixing, and a manipulation of the consumer.
Still a great deal on brand name media and jewel cases.
Oh ya, at Best Buy.... the 10 pack of the exact same discs were $29.99. A 10 pack with DVD cases was $40.
