I got into the Philips buy-1-get-1-free at Office Depot a few months back, and the DVD+Rs were CMC discs. I read on dvdrhelp.com that they were "higher than normal quality" CMC discs, but in my experience, they still sucked pretty bad. I've had about 5-10 coasters out of the 30ish I've used on my DRU500a (failed verifies, mostly).

Not trying to thread crap, just posting an experience.
