I got basically the same deal from Best Buy last month when they sold the LTR-52327S rebadged by Norcent.

I like these new drives better than the older versions, they make less noise running at high speeds and the tray gears doesnt grind as loud when it opens and closes. The shorter drive is nice if you got a cramped PC case like mine.

Still waiting on my rebate though. I hope it gets here this month. At least it was just one instead of two rebates. Now I have 3 computers with Lite-On drives and an extra. (and a couple older 4X, 12x and 24x burners - what do I do with them? Give them away at Holloween?)
