Buy item at BB now, then pricematch it on Black Friday?

Does anyone know if that would work? That is, buy something off of the list of what's going to be on sale on Black Friday now, then go back on Black Friday and get them to give you a price match refund?

Where can the list be found? Last I heard, BB had forced the removal of all lists after threatening legal action.

It's in the Black Friday post stickied at the top of this forum.

I took stuff back last year after it went on sale and felt dirty but got over it by the time I got home.

That's the most rude thing I have ever heard of in the world, doing such a thing. Just wait it out in line like the rest of us. They should have a policy about not price-matching on Black Friday.

You still have to wait in line. They will only match prices if you arrive between the times of the advertised sale. And because they restock all the sale items the night before, buying early doesn't affect what is available during black friday. If anything, it allows more people to cash in on the deal. The only bad side effect I can think of is that next year specials get worse because Black Friday doesn't end up being as great a bait-and-switch scam as they had hoped.

BF at BB always sucks. You have tons of scalpers in there, buying up stacks of cheap CD-RW drives and DVD players. It's kinda funny cause most of these tards don't realize the rebates are 1 per family/address.

I've decided to sleep in on Black Friday, and then hit the stores. If there's anything left that's worthy, I'll consider buying. Otherwise I'll just save my cash.

Also, I won't buy anything with rebates. It's tough enough to fight the crowds on BF, but to do additional rebates kind of defeats the purpose of BF.

You wanna do BB take a freind, one of you gets in the huge line with a cart, the other goes around and gets what you both want. About the time your at the front you should be done shopping. Hey it worked for me one year :)

You'll only even remotely get this if the item you've bought is on the blackfriday sale list and it's still there when you get to pricematch it !

You mean they won't pricematch if they've sold out of an item?

Hmmm...I wonder if, instead, you could buy the item at it's normal price now, then take it in on Black Friday and tell them you want to return it for the full price credit then buy it again at the sale price, thereby saving yourself the hassle of having to get there really early to get the item before it's sold out.

I dont know about best buy but lots of stores sale things that are not nromal stock on black friday. So it would be best to know the model number before you try to buy in advance.

A penny saved is a penny earned. With all that hassle and possible restocking fee, you'll be earning at $2/hour.

Considering I'd be saving about $60 on the item and each trip to Best Buy would take about an hour, including travel time, it would actually be $30/hour.
