I'd try that ebay one. Looks legit to me. Thanks, Spaz!

Pfft,

look at the shipping costs. $15.99 with no insurance, $17.99 with insurance. That is a ton higher than any other store I have ever seen, and it's only first class mail!

ezprosoft reverses to Hong Kong. backups reverses to Canada. 18 bucks for US Mail? It should be more like 3.

Yes, but that is an upgrade version, not the full version he is looking for.

It sounds like darned near any version of Windows qualifies for the upgrade, and it does not take too much looking around to find Windows on the internet.

Just get an OEM version unless you need the manual. I'd bet those cheap versions mentioned in previous posts are OEMs not retail.

www.trustprice.com has solid deals and free shipping.

Yeah, I don't need manuals and all the extras. I have enough experience to not need the paperwork...just legit software with key.

Thanks for the input, all!

Try Newwegg. $136 for full oem version, free fedex saver shipping. Have to buy w/ hardware, buy the combo special, just below the description, and save $5.

And since the item on which you can save $5 costs $5, your end price is $136! :D

CDRecorder, ya wise ass. LOL! Thanks for the info, StinkyPete! I appreciate it!

A former patient of mine told me today that he can get me a deal on XP Pro. I'll find out how much of a deal tomorrow.
