Every week I get emailed sneak preview ad from office max that I thought allowed me to take advantage of sale prices a day or two early. The ad says
"Take advantage of special offers only available to our sneak preview customers. Click on the image or button to see our upcoming features. Print a complete listing of our new offers for easy reference.
Head for your nearest office max store for your sneak preview savings"

After you click the email you use chose your state and city and then are taken to the ad with 2 steps on the top of the page.
Step two says the following
" Click the button below for a complete listing of these offers. To receive this exclusive pricing at our stores, you must print this list and present it when checking out."

So I drove the 15 or so miles to office max only to be told the items cant be sold at that price until the day the ad starts. I asked how it could be a sneak peek perk if I have to wait for the sale and why would I need to bring in the printout if the items are already on sale. She said sorry contact the web people for more info. Well I went home and gave them a ring and was told to use the ad to buy items at full price and then bring them back for a refund of the difference when the ad starts. Am I crazy or is office max deceptive?

Buy it and get your price match when the sale happens, they will do it, they did it for me with the 8x Pacific Digital drives were being blown out starting this Sunday. I got mine Saterday night and went back Sunday afternoon and they did a cash price reduction and gave my my MIR reciept too, ended upwith a NEC 2500.
