Ritek (Ridata) 4x DVD+R 50-packs on sale at SupermediaStore.com for $41 via coupon code "d5off." Don't know what kind of Ritek discs these are or whether they are 8x capable. There has been favorable comment about Ridata DVD+R in these forums.

Also are 100-packs of Sonic 4x DVD+R for $58.50 via coupon code "weekly10" at Shop4Tech.com.

According to Shop4Tech.com the Sonic discs are compatible with:

Nope, you got it mixed up. It's "d5off." I looked when it wouldn't work for me, thinking about getting 50 inkjet printable g04's with this code? These guys reputable?

Before all the store deals on brand name media (i.e. between the spring and fall of 2002 when DVD media used to cost much more), I ordered about three times from supermediastore/meritline.

I did not have any problems with them.

Ohh yeah, Supermediastore is part of Meritline. Well then, I have had experience with them too. I placed two orders with Meritline; both of them went off without a hitch.

Has anyone tried the Sonic on a Phillips DVDRW228? I have used many DVD+Rs and never had any problems, but never tried these Sonics.

Thanks
Brian

I dont know about the Sonic DVD+R's but the the Sonic DVD-R's from shop4tech are the LOWEST grade disc I have ever seen. You can visually see things wrong with them and they are alot thinner than a regular disc. They are longten media. The Longten from meritline is alot better.
