That picture isnt a good indicator cause there are sku's for like 4 or 5 drives listed. All different resellers using multiple manufacturers. It's pretty much a crap shoot which drive you get.

does that mean the if i order it i might get any one of those 4 (randomly)?
or can i actually choose which one i order?

any idea who is the actual manufacturer of these 4 drives?

Khypermedia has used Benq drives in the past I don't know if they have changed manufactures though.

Microadvantage uses BTC drives.

Pacific Digital uses BTC drives.

Mad Dog uses Artec drives also don't know if they have changed manufacures.

Pacific Digital "mach-8" 8x dvd burner is a rebadged NEC 2500A,,I f the s/n starts with 41. Like 41Cxxxxxxxx. This is one of the best on the market. Read about them on dvdhelp.com. I bought one and couldn't be happier.

btc -- some 48x pacific digitals have 30146 stickered over the other upc
i found an open box and verified visually
