Is the rebate also 2 per person?

I don't know if I'd want to get stuck with 50 of these since I'm sure they're probably CMC at *best*. ;) But they seem like a good thing to pick up for quick tests or copies of stuff for friends...

Sounds like a good deal unless they are those lousy 1X DVD's.

I remember seeing Teon CD-R's at Wal-Mart and they looked like CMC's.
Wouldnt be surprised if they were also making thier DVD's.

I have used CMC made Memorex 4X DVD-R's and I had no problems burning them on my Lite-On LDW-411S. They played back fine on all three of my DVD players.

The DVD-Rs appear to be "CMC MAG. AF1" and are rated as 4X with a lifetime warranty (assuming you can find anyone at Teon again! :) )

I didn't buy any DVD+Rs so I don't know what they are.

Not a bad price as long as we get the rebates.

I picked up two TEON DVD+R 4x 20 pack spindles and they are CMC MAG F01's.

FYI, you can purchase two spindles per rebate!

Why are people getting 8x media when it only says 4x? I don't understand.

CMC MAG-E01 and the Phillips is both 8x media.

I was going to buy some of the +r's, but when I got there they only had -r left. I guess people love +r or something. I got there 15 minutes after they opened, so I didn't get there really late.

Now I wish I had some :(

To bad it's a one day only sale.

The Dvd-R are Cmc. I think they're only 4x. So, I guess the people that bought the +r's are lucky.

I prefer -r's, because I can get them alot cheaper online and I have a pioneer 107d drive, which burns them better.

i got both +r & -r;for +r mine was cmc mag e01 & for -r it was ritekg03....2x media! but worked very well with 107d @6x. 708a burnt it @ 1.9x but reliably

when dvd_addict posted one's experience about returning open spindle to the store, i asked staples associate about the return, he told me "NO WAY"

staples is getting worse & their prices are not more expensive than officemax or officedepot & they don't do 110% price match when the item was on sale. only 100%

so your judging a whole company based on 1 store's experiance?

id like to know what store this was done in, could have a little chat with there electronics department

since im here representing staples #1348, we bend over backwards for every single customer that comes through our doors. i don't get the remark on the price gaurentee, where did you see a 20 pack of dvds cheaper then $15 out the door with $10 MIR?
