Nero 6 Ultra Edition Retail version $49.99 after rebate
Posted: Sun May 23, 2004 3:01 pmBest Buy has Nero 6 Ultra Edition Retail version on sale for $49.99 after rebate. Regular price is $99.99. You save $50. You pay $69.99 and get a $20 mail in rebate. It's not an upgrade rebate either, so you don't have to have a previous version to get it. It's just a regular mail in rebate. I bought one today.
They also have Tdk Dvd-r and Dvd+R 25 pack for $24.99.
What is strange is that when I went to my Best Buy they now actually have Tdk Dvd-r 4x media instead of 2x. It says 4x on it. It's made in Taiwan. I was hoping it was made in Japan. I'm not sure if their using Cmc, Prodisc, or somone else.
Online it shows Tdk Dvd-r 2x, so I wouldn't buy it online if you want 4x.
I'm very disappointed in Tdk for not using Japan media. I've never seen them offer Japan media at retail stores.
I guess the only way to get Japan media is if you buy Maxell dvd-r.
I hate it that all the companies are using the cheapest stuff they can get compared to the best quality stuff that they can get. It's all about making money. That's sad. I wish Fuji would start using Ty in there 25, 50, and 100 packs of dvd+r or dvd-r. I wish Tdk would do the same.
