Maxell DVD+R
It is buy one 25pk, get one free. 50pc total for $39. These are supposed to be good right? I read something that they are supposed to be TY? How to verify TY? Made in Japan? I have a NEC2510A and want to try some DVD+R.

The Maxell -R is made in Japan. The Maxell +R is made in Taiwan. It is Ricoh 4x media.
The Maxell -R media made in Japan is usually made by Maxell. I have read that sometimes it can be Ty, but it's usually Maxell.
Both the Maxell +r and -r are very high quality media. You won't go wrong with either one.

I was in a rush today, and went to OD to quickly grab some Maxell. I accidently picked up the Maxell -R, because they were in the same SALE bin. They are MIJ and DVD identifier says they are TY. I'm surprised they rang up 2 for $39 too!
