BEWARE - I/O Magic 16x from Staples not BENQ

I got the black friday special I/O Magic from Staples yesterday and to my dissapointment it was a BTC 1016IM, not the BENQ 1620 that I wanted.
There is no way to tell if it is BENQ or BTC from the box.
They must have changed drives recently. I promptly returned that junk and went to Newegg.com and ordered the BENQ 1620 for $59 + $5 fex-ex. I have dealt with newegg before and they were great. It was hard to decide between the NEC and the BENQ but I chose the BENQ because of the bitsetting features not available with the NEC

Supposedly you can tell what it is by looking at the specs. See this post:

Maybe it was fate then that I couldn't get it.
The '$10 off $10 or more' customer appreciation card for my lengthy wait looks better now than before when it wasn't enough to compensate me for a ridiculous wait at the in-store kiosk on BF, only to have the system time out and hang and ultimately still not go through.

The employee who had been trying to place my order forever (I kept thinking any minute now it will go through - he even told me it was 6/9 of the way through the ordering process at one point - otherwise I would have left long ago) asked if I wanted a rain check or if I wanted to try again from home; he assured me it was in stock.
I asked to speak with the manager, who had given the gentleman in front of me a customer appreciation coupon for his lengthy wait about 45 minutes earlier; she mentioned to him to keep it on the QT, but I was the next customer in line, so I heard it.
She apologized and handed me $10.
It was better than nothing, but not enough to compensate me for the ridiculous wait.

It sure was fate.
Got a NEC 3500A (Mad Dog version) today for the same price ($39.98 after rebate and coupon + tax).
The best part was that it took a few minutes to place a phone order (coupon was for phone orders only) as opposed to the Black Friday mess.
