I ordered three spindles. They came as Prodisc 8x. I tried for the first time to burn a -R in my LiteOn 411S. The results were not good and I am in the process of giving these away. (Since the price was so low, I cannot stand the thought of returning them if someone can use them.)

redk9258, These burn perfect at 8x on the NEC 3500. Why don't you get that new 3520 at Newegg?

Yes, I am using firmware version FS0K. The drive writes fine on +R media. I thought I would give -R a try (especially for that price!). I'll just stick with +R for now until I get a new burner down the road.
