I just bought a 25pk Great Quality Brand from Fry's $10.50 before a $7 MIR so it's $3.50 AMIR. This is what DVD Identifier said:

I doubt those are real TYs. Most probably fake MIDs.

They aren't TY, just Great Quality using a TY MID code.

Well I didn't buy the GQ today, but they have a sale on Fuji DVD+R 8x (made in japan), the sales claim it's 29.95 with a 7 rebate for a final price of 22.95, when I rang it up on the register it comes out at $24.99, so it's actually $17.99 with tax for genuine TY. My nec 3500A recongized it as 16x writable (with official firmware).
The code is YUDEN000T02.8.

I think it's a pretty good deal

I picked up 2 pack.

xeetim, burn a disc and then report a quality scan. They might be good.
