Doh! I just paid $44 for these. So far they are working pretty good for me.

Wonder when they will be in stock on Amazon?

I ordered mine just before I posted this. and the estimated delivery date (with the free supersaver shipping) is Feb 16 through Mar 3. It's going to be quite a while.

Sounds like you didn't do too bad either you still paid half the price of meritline, what a rip they are.

Has to be purchased by 1/31/05 to get rebate. I have heard of instances where Amazon has credited back the rebate to your account, but I wouldn't count on that.

Why not just purchase these Velocity 8x DVD+Rs from Amazon.com? Same media code (MCC003) as the Verbatims without the rebate!

Velocity 8X DVD+R 100PK @ $26.99!

Because then you *KNOW* you're only getting crappy Prodisc media, and not possibly Mitsubishi media, or at least CMC media made to Verbatim specs.

I wouldn't touch Prodisc 8x DVD-Rs with a 50 foot pole!!

Don't forget, the code on the disc means VERY little... if it was all that mattered, I'd only buy cheap hongkong crap for <$0.20 CAD that comes with a TYG02 code on it!
