Was free shipping, but is sold out now.
Still available for in-store purchase.
Unfortunately, $90 of mail-in-rebates. #-o

Yeah, I saw this on Sunday. I was excited until I saw the rebates.

Now if it was Staples, I might do it. Their electronic rebates are fast.

Two weeks ago Staples had on sale 160 GB from Maxtor on sale for flat $60 with no rebate, when I got there I was told they sold out but the salesperson gave me Maxtor 160 Gb SATA for the same sale price ($60) with no MIR.

Nice. They usually just tell me they're out of stock and to get lost.

Staples had the 200 gig Maxtor EIDE hard drive on sale for President's Day for $60 after mail in rebate. The rebate came a couple days ago. I was able to submit it at the time of purchase on the web. I also got had two rebates on the TEON DVD discs that were on sale. Those came as well. I'm impressed with Staples' rebate program.

I agree; Staples is the only place where the rebates are a sure thing. =D>
