I just recieved an E-mail from BUY.COM with a $10 off $75 (all stores).
Further down in the same email they list the Pioneer AO9, Black, Retail, with free shipping. $79 after rebate+ coupon $69

Buy .com has some good deals. Bought my Plex from them.
However, TCAS has a point! How many copies of NERO do you need?

I would assume the Warranty is longer with the retail version.

Ian; You are right they two different drive but according to Pioneer site there is only one format of A09 and that is the external one being called A09XL, there is no listing for "Internal Drive A109".

The A09XL isn't external. It's an internal.

You have the 109 which is the OEM version and the A09XL which is the retail with fancy bezel, etc. I don't think they've announced an external yet, but I could be wrong.
