Futureshop has the 50 pack of Benq DVD+R on sale for $19.99. According to their website, it's for the 4X, but when I went in today, it was for the 8X. I picked up 2 spindles. Not sure about the quality of this media, but at this price it's worth taking a chance. BTW, I got these from Dartmouth, NS

That seems to be a regular sale price for them. The cheapest we ever saw BenQ brand 8x DVDRs was $0.30 a disc in 200pks.

They also had (past tense) 8x -R Sony online for $9.99 for a 25 pack.
It lasted about 15 minutes while I watched.
