No, just the media mentioned in the post.

I'll go back and edit the post so it's more accurate, thanks.

Yep, in the very fine print "Made In Taiwan".

No, I never did find a 1640. Any ideas? I guess that I'll go for a 1650. Most folks say they are just about the same.

Anyone know if the Fuji DVD media at Best Buy is ever TY any more?[/quote]

Is the H10L the same drive as the H10N? I really don't *need* another DVD burner but I have one waiting for an in-store pickup as I've been curious about Lightscribe and it's a good price. (I was thinking I could replace my 4167 with the H10L and bring the 4167 to work so I could have DVD-RAM support, which I actually use for file transfers)

Seems like it's a pretty good deal for a good drive with Lightscribe.. retail, even! (I just wish I had picked up on it Sunday or Monday when the 10% coupons were still in effect! Oh well, it's only a few bucks)

Best Buy, Circuit City, CompUSA, Office Depot, Office Max and Staples end on Saturday night.
Occasionally, Staples will run a two week ad, not this week though..

I think the Outpost ad changes on Friday night.

Do you guys north of the border get the same store ads?

Well, we have *some* of the same stores, but different ads with different prices and selection. Reason I ask is because I will probably be in Hew Hampshire this weekend :D

thanks for the reply!

Verbatims 2.4x DVD+R DL (twenty count spindle) are selling for $21 at Newegg after $10 rebate. The current offer has free shipping.

Add the free CD wallet under the combo deal and pay about $7 shipping for the media and wallet. Http://www.newegg.com/product/Product.a ... 6817130008

Please verify that the item number for the media matches the rebate item number.

Dang, it did have free shipping about 1 hour ago.

Newegg has a habit of tweaking their specials. Just keep checking the link, it might have free shipping later.

That deal has changed no less then 5 times in the last 3 days.

They claim it's due to cost fluctuations... But considering that Verbatim hasn't changed the price of that spindle since July 18th, I think that's BS (and yes, I'm talking about Verbatim USA even!).

Anyone know a site where I can see next week's US ads now?

If you check some sites like slickdeals.com or fatwallet.com, they SOMETIMES have leaked copies of the ads posted. (usually an employee just types it up)

There's no "official" way to see most of the ads before Saturday night, usually.
