Fry's Electrinic has on sale today 200 GB hard drive PATA or SATA from Maxtor for $49.99 no MIR also Pioneer 16X Internal DVD Writer is on sale for $34.99 after $15 MIR.

You Americans get the most incredible hard drive deals. Is it just me, or does it it seem like the HDD manufacturers are trying to get rid of their PATA drives?

Nice deals on those Maxtors, I'm in for a couple of the 200gb models. Planning to use them for MP3 storage.

Now I need to find a nice deal for a Sansa MP3 player.

Yes, that's the one I snatched. They dropped the price to $100 this past week but it's OOS.
