Do any of the PC and peripherals retailers (BB, CUSA, Circuit City [also OfficeMax, and Office Depot if they have sales] open real early that day?
By 7 AM for example?

Thanks!

If memory serves me correctly, Best Buy has opened at 7:00 AM in past years. Either last year or the year before, there was such an extremely long line going up to the door that I just kept on driving - went and ate breakfast somewhere, then went back later. Unfortunately, all the best bargains that I wanted were gone.

I'm not sure about CompUSA, but I think they opened at 8:00 here in Atlanta, Georgia.

Thanks a lot for the information.

Due to my taking three weeks of vacation and two weeks of training in the last 8 weeks of this year, and my backup being out Thanksgiving week, I can't take off that Friday, so I will have to go before work (if there are any really hot deals, which I think there definitely were last year).

I'm driving from Ontario to Tampa area for the US Thanksgiving. I'll be in line. The only thing on sale up here the day after Thanksgiving was cranberry sauce.

But I'm looking for a deal.

$1 US = $1.58 CDN. I'm cheap too. The exchange is going to kill me, but I only get to Florida once every 5 years or so.

Some things we just can't get up here: cheap 99 minute cd-r's (or ANY brand name cd-r's with rebates) 24x cd-rw discs etc.

I ordered 99 minute cd-r's from www.yesbuy.net for 0.80 CDN each. In Canada they're $1.50 plus shipping + 15% taxes.
