Starting in the beginning of February Wal*mart will have a special buy one time offer of 100 pack 48x Teon for 19.92. They are made in Taiwan so I think they are made by CMC.
I'm pretty sure this will be ran nationally, but I'm not sure. It will be in the midwest US for sure.
Check it out they look like good blanks.

How is 100 CD's for 19.92 a hot deal? And they're probably CMC too.
If you want a hot deal, then check out the Fuji's in cfitz's Best Buy Thread!

the only teon's that i've seen were for audio cd recorders and if it's a 100 pack of music cdr's, then that's awesome deal for 19.99. and they are as good as imation blanks. decent

I've used the Teon 24x-rated "Audio" discs before, with no problems. Them and the old TDK 16x CMC discs are the only CMC's that'd burn OK (and w/o errors) on my system. The newer ones don't seem to be as good.

Great Job Guarana2.5!!!!!!

In the latest Walmart ad they are listed as "CMC Teon" CD-R's. No mistaking these for any other brand!
