The sales flyer that was in today's paper (Bakersfield, CA) said the 6 hr sale was on Friday. I didn't note any outstanding bargains, just the usual stuff, i.e. 52x CD-R/RW burner for $29.99 after rebates and a bunch of stuff that is free after rebate.

Thanks for the update. Do you have time to post the deals here for those who don't have access to a flyer?

Yeah, the store closes at 5 on Friday and then opens at 6. I'm curious because they have a few wireless cable routers on sale along with a TV tuner for like $5 after $20 MIR. I wouldn't mind watching some TV while at work.

I'm at work and the flyer is at home. I can do it this evening if anyone is still interested. It would probably be around 8 PM pacific time.

Thanks.

What brand is that 52x CD-RW drive?

The ad is online at:

http://www.compusa.com/product_images/p ... /cover.pdf

http://www.compusa.com/product_images/p ... 1/back.pdf

The 52X CDRW is the Buslinke 52X CDRW. The CompUSA I checked stocked all non-Lite-on CDRW's, as their box did not say "Smart-Burn".

It seems only Circuit City and BB consistently stock Lite-Ons/Buslinks...

I noticed that one too, BuddhaTB. I think it's a great deal considering I just bought one at Wal-Mart a week ago for $23 + tax (no rebates).

Also, wanted to mention something about the Fuji CD-Rs. I went to the nearest Best Buy (Memphis, TN) and they had a deal of 50 packs for $16.99 - $10.00MIR - $4.00MIR = $2.99. These rebates all printed out at the register. I think this is a variation from the original deal that was posted?

I grabbed the last one off the shelf where computer cd blanks reside. Then, out of pure luck, my dad noticed one more near the audio section of cd blanks over in the music department. So, in the end I'm getting 100 for about $7.00 (It made my day :) )

Wedge Maniac, that was the original Best Buy deal (as opposed to the CompUSA deal - both had Fuji deals). Glad to hear you were able to take advantage of it. Let me know if you need another address to which to send the second set of rebates...
