CoverDesigner create new paper stock revisited

Postby Pilgrim on Thu Jun 28, 2018 4:34 pm

1. I've tried to download and install a newer version of Nero Cover Designer, but nothing worked. So, I am still using v. 6.0.10800.11.100. (stop laughing guys!!) :-?

2. My Epson Artisan 50 doesn't seem to want to work despite all efforts to clean the print heads. So, I'm considering replacing it with something reasonably cheap and has DVD printing capabilities... Epson Expression Premium XP 6000.

Okay, so my question should be obvious at this point... I need to make a new paper stock to do disc printing on this new machine. Does anyone have that information?

TIA

I actually still print TONS of burned blurays, single layer and dual layer

My top pick for cheap and good optical disc printing... epson xp640

$69.99

https://www.amazon.com/Epson-XP-640-Wir ... B01J7H8HP6

it doesn't do like top notch photo prints on top of discs but for just normal black writing or custom labels. works perfectly fine. If I remember, I'll take a pic and post it here.

FYI if you need top notch single layer printable BD-R - https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product. ... 6817132086

those are ritek branded discs for $0.44 per disc

for printable bd-r dl (50GB) - https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product. ... 69821C2961

those are also ritek branded discs for about $1.90 per disc, which for DL is super cheap. way better then a couple years ago when you were paying over $10 for a single non printable BD-R DL disc

I just bought an Epson Expression XP-6000 and it does fine. Paid $89 on sale at Staples.
