What should be the size of a page file to burn good cds?

Postby seancaw on Mon Sep 15, 2003 10:33 am

Hi,

I have Roxio Easy Cd creator V. 6

When I burn a data cd using creator classic V.6 and UDF format it only burns text and not the graphics of a web page. When I try to open such a file I keep getting the message in task bar, “ Opening Page File”. Then it opens the file without any graphics.

This happens only when I burn more than 100 MB of data only. If I burn a data file with less than 100 MB data, it burns both text and graphics.

Can somebody tell me what is going on?

I have Win 98 SE with 128 MB RAM and it has one GB of free space and I have set it to “ Let Windows manage my virtual memory.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

Sean

I think you need more free space on your hard drive. Personally, I like to have at least 4 or 5 gigs free. Also, I set my page files (virtual memory) to 1024 MB (1 GB) on my old desktops and my laptop. I set the page file to 3072 MB (3 GB) on my main desktop.
