Where to find DOS firmware for BTC 1004IM

i am tring to get the DOS version with instructions on how to do it being i never tried changing the firmware using DOS before.

i bought this drive for 15.00 at officemax this week with the 20% coupon. this was a openbox and only one left. this drive has the original and i tried updating this drive using the windows firmware version but it would no let me so think maybe using the DOS version would. i tried searching the internet but could not finding anything unless i suck at searching.
