It is excellent - very quiet, fast, recognizing all the CD-R media that Lite-On burner doesn't. Especially, it reads multi-media CD much faster than PD 52x, Buslink 52x.

I have the KHypermedia 48x24x48x CD-RW, and mine is a re-badged Benq. What name does Windows give yours in Device Manager? Mine says "ATAPI CD-RW 48X24". If you have this model, I would recommend upgrading to firmware version D.SC as it improves writing quality, or at least it did for me. Mine came with D.LC.

Edit: I think I read that it can be upgraded to 52x24x52, VEFF. The drive seems to have a MTK chipset. I am not going to try OCing mine, though; I'll just wait until I can get a Lite-On LTR-52327S (after they come out)!
