Why buy TMPGenc DVD Author?

I heard great reviews on the TMPGenc DVD Author software.
What I do not understand yet (newbie) is why would you buy the DVD authoring software when you can...


download DVD Decrypter (burn the movie) and DVD Shrink (rip the movie into ISO or file) to do the job for free?? Could you explain? Thank you.

You can convert from the other video format to DVD format with TMPGEnc DVD author. In other words, you can create your own DVD.

Convert MPEG clips into DVD's etc.

...and also make chapters and menus.It's great for converting S/VCD to DVD.
