Cloud based video startup SpotCam announces today the first home monitoring Wi-Fi video solution that offers free 24 hour cloud-based HD video playback – SpotCam.
Cloud-Based Video Playback for Free
With SpotCam, users can view live or recorded video of their home or office directly from their smartphone, tablet, or computer, and have the peace of mind that in the event of an incident there is 24 hours of cloud stored video evidence. The real-time alert system allows users to stay aware of motion or audio activity with instant notifications sent via email or the mobile app. Longer loop recording is available at reasonable monthly/annual fees.
High Definition Recording and Clear Night Vision
The 720p High Definition resolution and 110° wide angle view ensures a detailed view of the entire intended area. In low-light conditions 12 automatically-activated IR LEDs provide clear night vision.
Users are able to share SpotCam videos and streams to specific people or even to the general public through the easy to use included software and app.
SpotCam can be set up in a couple of steps on the Android / iOS app or through the SpotCam website. Family members of all technological levels can quickly get SpotCam up and going. Only a Wi-Fi connection is needed.
A built-in microphone and speaker allows for communication between both parties.
Video streaming and storage are protected and transmitted securely with SSL encryption.
