Starlogic 1x DVD-R with 107D with Nil's Hacked Firmware v1.1

Postby shimman on Fri Apr 02, 2004 7:15 pm

hello,

i am evaluating 107d, 812s, & 2500a

i just updated 107d with nil's hacked firmware v1.10....not perfect but amazing firmware

starlogic 1x dvd-r media is identified by nero cd-dvd speed as (princo)

i had 1x, 6x, & 8x burning choices with nero, i chose 6x. all disks were sucessfully burnt @ 6x & verified (all were data dvd) with 812s & k's probe shows just ok quality but not too bad.

i hope i know how to upload results from nero cd-dvd speed & k's probe, but i do not know

Quite a few do in my 107. Princo, Ritek, Lead-Data, "Sony" Infiniti.

In fact the only ones that *don't* are the junk you wouldn't want to use anyway :)

The only two things that are a pity is (a) no 4x writing on 1x/2x media and (b) no 8xforall on +R discs. Still, NIL is a god nonetheless 8)
