Looks like they lowered the NEC burner to $24.99! BTW, it's an ND-3550A.

Sweet, I thought the $100 dollar price was for Saturday only. Looks like its still holding today, maybe for the week.

FWIW, Fry's description looks wrong, not sure what's correct. I thought the "Perpendicular Recording" started with Seagates .10 series of drives. The model ST3400633AS is a .9 series drive.. Either way, at $.25 per gig, she's nice!

Yup, me too. I finally went to place the order after breakfast and the price is now $190 #-o

Edit- Just for the heck of it, I called Fry's because of this page- http://shop2.outpost.com/search?cat=-48 ... e=pDisplay that displays ( or displayed by the time you read this  ) the price at $99.99

The guy honored the price and gave free shipping because he thought it was the right thing to do. Good job Frys =D>

You guys think Nero 7 at this price is a worthwhile upgrade from version 6? I was just at Fry's B&M and it was a hundred bucks.

I got Nero 7 free after rebate last Thanksgiving weekend from Best Buy.

Never have installed it. I think many people are STILL having lots of problems. Definitely wouldn't spend $100 to find out it sucked, but the $19.99 AR price isn't toooo bad. I think it's finally -- now-- at the point it should've been at release from what I am reading, but Nero 6 is working fine for me and I hate the idea of spending a week in upgrade hell just to roll back to 6. ;)
