In House Review - Kingston HyperX 3K 240GB Solid State Drive

Postby Ian on Wed Jul 04, 2012 1:00 pm

CDRLabs has taken an in depth look at Kingston's new HyperX 3K solid state drive. Designed with enthusiasts and gamers in mind, this cost-effective alternative to the original HyperX is powered by LSI's SandForce SF-2281 processor and features a SATA 6GB/s interface and DuraClass technology. The HyperX 3K also uses premium 3,000 P/E cycle synchronous NAND flash to deliver up to 555MB/s read and 510MB/s write transfer rates and a maximum of 74,000 4KB random write IOPS.

No such deal offered to me (Prime member too)... I want the 240GB... The only one that has a coupon deal for me is the 480GB drive.
