Sometimes they are worthwhile and sometimes not. This one is underwhelming - an understated infomercial for an upgrade.

This is nothing that I don't have already at no cost. Irfanview provides a much more powerful enhancing, editing, cropping and resizing tool. The utilities included with my printer provide redeye correction and the cataloging, database function. Outside of that, ........................

Redeye Tip: If your camera has the redeye reduction option, turn it off. Its employment increases the shoot cycle time annoyingly and frequently doesn't work that well. Then get rid of the redeye with a photo editior.

Photoshow Express is a huge disappointment. I expected better from Ahead...something that could at least compete with Roxio. This falls waaaayyyyyy short.
