DVD RAM x16 is the future!

Postby seedomo on Sun Jul 23, 2006 12:48 pm

Is Blue Ray really going to be the future since it writes only at 2x and only once at that, AND betta be ready to fork over some serious cash for that disposable disk!

To me 9.5Gigs of dependable rewritable 16x DVD for $7 sounds better to me!
Can you imagine blowing a session with a blue ray disk and having to toss $20!

BluRay 4x media is going to be out next year probably, and Re-Writables are also available. Actually, the re-writable media seems to be much quite good, and in some cases BETTER then the write once media (according to tests done by C't magazine).

I'm pretty sure CD 1x is 150Kb/s.
