pioneer 105 reading speed

How fast is too fast?

pioneer 105 reading speed

I've got a pioneer 105 it read dvd-r/rw and dvd-rom at 2x

are reported completely different reading speed! How is this possible?

That drive is a fairly shitty drive for ripping DVDR's.

Sometimes it depends on the quality of DVDR you r
ripping and if u've finger fucked it.. All in All I dont
believe it will rip faster then 4 - 5x MAX.. I seen two
of them break in my lifetime too so I don't think there
built well..

Oh and Pioneer takes 2 months to RMA a drive back to u
under Warrenty.. They suck. and I will never buy a Pioneer
Product again..
