Easy CD Creator 5 basic (OEM) - what's the serial number?

Postby dodecahedron on Mon Aug 16, 2004 2:57 am

i have an OEM Easy CD Creator 5 basic that came preinstalled on my computer (-> i don't have the serial key).

since an OS reinstall is pending, can anyone help me find the serial number?
is it in some location in the registry that i can copy it down (like Nero)?

TIA

Unfortunately the program converts CD key to Product key, which is totally different. That's the only info I could find in Registry...

Nop, I've installed it on Win98SE, but it's the Platinum Edition, not an OEM. Sorry. :-s

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Adaptec\Easy CD Creator\5.0]
"Installed version"="Platinum"
"Product Code"="{xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx}"
