Since there is a critical point here from TCAS (I'm glad he's sure, that I began to doubt)
I did follow the whole procedure of .MPG
burning the way I discribed again, to answer honestly, I remembered wrong...

I now get the information dialog-box:
http://www.hardwarexpo.net/graphics/mpg.jpg
(translated from dutch to englisch)
The next files do not belong in the VIDEO_TS directory of a DVD-Video
compilation: IlMio Canto Libero.mpg
Only files conform DVDVideo
(VIDEO_TS.IFO
VIDEO_TS.VOB
VIDEO_TS.BUP
VTS_nn_0.IFO
VTS_nn_0.VOB
VTS_nn_0.BUP
VTS_nn_m.VOB)
can be added to the VIDEO_TS directory.
Add files of a completed DVDVideo-title
or use a program for Authoring like NeroVision Express
to make DVDVideo files from Stanard video-files like
*.avi and *.mpg

I remembered wrong, I was backing up the .MPG as data to a DVD disk, and I now confirm that I
was once making a DVD for a cousin in Italy, since I had the MPG file "recoded" still on the
HDD and burned that VIDEO_TS directory on DVD.
So I mixed some things.
Because I was also experimenting with copies of a complete DVD, wich can directly burned with
NBR so the disc will not be recoded, although with starting from SmartStart the NeroVisionExpress
will be starting, and then RECODE will start if you continue.
Excuses for bringing you in the wrong direction!
VIDEO_TS directory:
Video_ts.bup
Vts_01_0.bup
Video_ts.ifo
Vts_01_0.ifo
Video_ts.vob
Vts_01_1.vob
What I can say is that the result of recoding is correct like the original
I'm convinced and satified the way it does!
The next time when I will give my reply on such complicated subjects,
I will be more secure, and will be checking things directly before replying!
I hope you will forgive me, Harry
