Those are Jedi Force toys. Hasbro is trying to cater to younger kids with them. The only one I own is Yoda.
Hasbro is trying to do the same with GI Joe. However, they've pretty much shit canned the 3 3/4" toy line in favor of those goofy 6" figures. Adult collectors have not been happy.
I don't think Kenner went bankrupt per se... they were bought by Hasbro. Hasbro actually sold a lot of toys (Star Wars, Transformers) under the Kenner brand until the late 90's.. then they just pulled them all under the Hasbro name.
