Hard drive ad-on

Postby hlior on Fri Jun 01, 2007 8:03 am

Hi

I would appreciate your help.

I have a HP Pavillion computer with WIN XP.
I recently added another hard drive amd I understand that the Program files folder should not be moved from the drive it is now on to the new drive....That I should rather download again the files.

I would appreciate your opinion

Thanks.

That's right. If you installed your programs to Program Files, you shouldn't move them by say copying and pasting them to the new hard drive. If you want to move them, I'd recommend uninstalling them and reinstalling them to the new hard drive.
