Standalone packet writers?

Postby Pilgrim on Mon Oct 13, 2008 1:58 pm

Does anyone know if there are any standalone packet writing applications available, preferrably compatible with Vista and XP?

THANKS

I'm partial to Sonic's DLA. It's not the prettiest application but it works fairly well.

If you poke around Dell's support site (support.dell.com), you'll find a copy to download.

Thanks! After poking around for 30+ minutes on Dell's support site I did find Sonic DLA 64 v5.2. Is that the latest version available that you know of? And is that what I need on 32-bit systems? If there is a newer version, it would be great if you could supply a direct download link. 8)

BTW, it ain't easy finding anything on that Dell website! ](*,)

Okay.... but what is it? I would prefer to know what the file is, e.g., application name, version, compatible OS, etc., before blindly installing it.

Thanks!

It's the 32-bit version of DLA 5.20. If you don't want to use Dell's installer, you can extract the exe using Winrar and then install DLA normally.
