Burning mp3 as audio or data?

Postby Tania on Thu Apr 16, 2009 5:39 pm

Forgive what might be a silly question, but I've no experience with computers. I've put together a number of mp3 files I want to burn to a cd.

What I can't understand is this: if I go for the option *burn as data* my 10 mp3 files all fit on my 650/mb cd. But if I go for the option *burn as audio* I can only fit a couple on the cd. Why is this happening? Tks for any clue.

If you're using the standard CD-DA format, you can fit only 74-80 minutes of music per disc. mp3's are compressed so you can fit a lot more in the same amount of space.
