Samsung SSD Magician 4.2.1 Available For Download

Samsung has released the next version of its SSD Magician software. This one enables RAPID mode on their new 840 EVO SSD.

Magician 4.2.1 features a number of improvements over version 4.1:
- RAPID(Real Time Acceleration Processing of I/O data) Mode
- Dynamic Over Provisioning
 Recommended : 10 % of available space for OP by default
 Custom : User can provide the percentage of available space for OP
- Disk Authenticity :
This feature has been removed from the main menu of Home screen and
integrated with Disk Drive view and improved compatibility issue between
840 and 840 PRO under specific systems.
- OS Optimization :
After configuring the Virtual memory in the OS Optimization
(Reliability/Endurance/Capacity), if the Virtual memory is configured
successfully then user will be prompted to do a system restart by magician
application.
- DPI(Display Interface) scaling limited to maximum 115% incase user
changes the DPI more than 100%. With this also some of system
component like menu, message box and scroll bar are still scalable based
on user selection

And here's what RAPID can do. Yeah, that's a single SATA SSD.
