xp is different than previous OS, so how...

my friend of mine has the new "XP"(i have ME) and i can't seem to find out how to enable DMA on "XP" to allow his cd burner to burn at faster speeds.

it's alot different than WIN 98,ME etc.

Tyr control panel - system- double click on what u r looking for, and u should be able to find the settings. Also u may have to right click on the task bar where a blank area is available, click properties, start menu-or classic menu and explore the both.
