Can any of this be overclocked? Goldstar CRD-8332b?

,

I have an old LG/Goldstar CRD-CRD8332b, I was wondering if anyone has any links to the latest firmware for it, tried searching on LG's site to no avail...

I think I've got firmware 1.06 on it, but I believe that there is a 1.07 and 1.08 available.

If these firmware's are available will they enable me to overclock to a better model/higher speed?

If so any tips for overclocking this model?

Thanks.

Any advice/links however small would be greatly appreciated.

I've neither seen nor heard anything about this drive being overclockable.

It sounds impossible. I like my 24x CD-ROM drive most since it is silent and reliable compared to 40x SCSI, 50x SCSI, 52x IDE, and other drives I've recently had.
