Problem with my Samsung CD Rom

Hi there
i have this samsung cd rom SC 152 C
the prob is that sometimes if i want to eject an cd or just open the tray to pop in a cd the drive makes a noise as if the tray is closing and then the whole machine hangs up the only remedy is to leave a cd in it if this is done it works as smooth as butter
another prob i dont have the original drivers for this drive and so i dont find it using its real power
please help me

this sounds like a hardware problem. can only be fixed by servicing the drive - contact the manufacturer/importer/reseller.

optical drives do not need and do not have drivers.
you just install them (physically) into the computer, and then Windows automatically detects and installs the drive into the operating system, supplying whatever drivers are needed automatically (these are generic drivers that are good for all optical drives). so you don't need to install any drivers yourself.
to use the drive to the best performance make sure DMA is enabled.
