What are the ranks that there are on these forums and how many posts do you need for each one?

I thought only admin's got the title CD-RW PiMP, but I'm not sure anymore since Han has it now.

However, I would like my "CD-RW Player" changed to something else though.

but checking it out i see that Boone isn't a PiMP, only a Player!

As you know, Ian likes to be "only" the editor. He doesn't recommend any drive over the other, at least not publicly. Well, I did that quite vigorously back then (I think it's more than two years) that I got the PiMP rank. That's how I can explain it (I never asked for it, but I like it). :P

I got to be Curmudgeon because I was (am?) too grumpy (hopefully just from time to time and not always  ):

Actually, I'm not the only one anymore. Somehow or another Raz0rX got the designation as well:

http://www.cdrlabs.com/phpBB/profile.ph ... ile&u=1055

We're not sure how he got this designation, since he isn't known to be grumpy. Was it deliberate, was it a phpBB hiccup? I don't know, and neither does Raz0rX according to our discussion:

I set cfitz up as the CD-RW Curmudgeon, I was unaware that anyone else also had this designation.

I don't have a problem handing out the occasional new title, however I would just keep it to the regulars, and I wouldn't make it a standard thing. 8)

RazOrX was having problems with his account. I changed his designation to see if it would stick.

Han has been on the forum for ages now. I don't remember why I made him a PiMP, but he definitely deserves it.

Aha! The truth is finally out. :D I always did have my suspicions...

Well, as you saw in my earlier posts, I perversely enjoy the ignominy of my title. :D

Which he edited and tried to play off as if I made a mistake. That's poor, aviationwiz.

Two wrongs don't make a right. We all know aviationwiz edited the post afterward and tried to act like nothing happened. It's on his conscience, not ours. :)
