OS installation from CDRW versus DVDRW

Postby userfb7 on Sun Dec 14, 2003 12:50 am

Is it better to install Win XP from a CDRW as opposed to a DVDRW? I am in the process of building a new PC and need to hook up three optical drives: Plextor 708A, Plextor Premium and Creative PC-DVD. Would you recommend the following configuration:
IDE1 port: Plextor Premium (Master) and Creative PC-DVD (Slave)
IDE2 port: Plextor 708A

Thanks for the help.

Setup looks great. Mine is the exact same, except instead of a Creative DVD-ROM, I have a Lite-On DVD-ROM, otherwise, same setup, same drives.
