Editing DVD video using Nero?

Could someone point me in the direction of how to edit content of a DVD then resave it using Nero tools.

My friend has sent me footage from a recent wedding on a DVD but I need to re-edit the footage before then making a new DVD out of the newly edited material.

I've backed up the DVD content and got an .nrg file but buggered if I know how to edit it?

Do any of the DVD editing software packages accept .nrg files as input?

Thanks.

Why don't you use NeroVision?

NeroVision no good

Hi,

NeroVision only takes input from an external source, by the look of it, and not the contents of an .nrg file.

Unless, of course, someone knows different!!

You can use the Nero ImageDrive program feature to mount the NRG file as if it were a normal DVD Video DVD, and then grab the VOB files from this and load them into NeroVision Express to edit.
