Regular SVCD tree:
D:\EXT
D:\MPEG2
D:\SEGMENT
D:\SVCD

where AVESQ01.MPG is in D:\MPEG2\AVESQ01.MPG

Is there a way to burn it without having the folders using Nero??
So that it would be D:\AVESQ01.MPG

Is there any other program that could do this??

You could burn your MPEG's using Data instead of SVCD but you will lose Rew.,FF and zoom on your DVD player.

Um...the special characteristic of the svcd format is that it can burn a 800MB file because it treats the file as audio (so it only has to be under 80mins, regardless of file size).
Therefore, if I select it as "Data CD", it's impossible to burn even if I select overburning.

Is there a different CD format that will treat .mpg files as audio??

You could try mode 2 or use a 90min(800MB) CD.
I don't understand what you're trying to accomplish?Why don't you use SVCD?

Nero Data CD - won't fit a 800mb .mpg file, because it sees it as data, and 800>700mb available on CDR

Nero Super Video CD - will fit a 800mb .mpg file, because it sees it as audio, but when reading the CD, the file size on the burned CD is 800+ mb.

I've tried to put the .mpg into an Audio CD compilation and Mixed Mode CD compilation, but Nero won't let me.
I guess it's useless if not in SVCD, but I wanted to know if Nero could burn 800MB .MPG file onto a 700MB disc by telling it not to treat the file as data, so I could rename the .mpg file as something other than AVESQ01.MPG and I wouldn't be restricted to close the compilation.
