Nero causes computer to reboot
Posted: Mon Sep 06, 2004 11:49 amEverytime i start nero (nero.exe) it reboots my computer it dosent even seem to start up. No warning or anything just reboot about 1 sec after i clicked the icon. I am using Windows XP Pro with SP2 on a raid 0 system and Nero 6.3.1.20.
What i have found out is that if i split the raid and reinstall Windows on one of the harddrives (no raid) and install the exact same version of nero it works with no problem at all. I have also tried some other software to burn cd/dvd with and tried that on both raid 0 and without raid with no problem at all. So the problem seems to have something to do with nero and my raid configuration.
My raid is 2 WDC WD360GD SATA drives on intel raid. I have only 1 DVD burner connected (NEC ND-2510A) on ide nothing more. I have also tried with different version of nero with the same problem.
Anyone who have a clue what i can try to get it working with my raid?
